WINTER '10 MEETING
The Chicago Chapter CLMA Winter Networking Event
The Chicago CLMA held their 2010 Winter Networking Event on Wednesday, February 24th. We had almost 60 attendees, with an almost 50/50 split of chapter members and non-members. Thank you to BioSite for their generous support.
The event was hosted at the beautiful Pleasant Home, a National Historic Landmark in Oak Park, IL. The 30-room, 16,000- square-foot house was designed in 1897 by noted Prairie Style architect George W. Maher for investment banker and philanthropist John W. Farson. The evening started with cocktails and appetizers and mingling with all attendees. Thomas Koshy Ph.D., Regional Scientific Affairs Director, from BioSite did a presentation on Epocal a new hand held Point of Care instrument that they will be released pending FDA approval. We ended the evening with a narrated tour of the historic home. What a wonderful evening; interesting venue, great food and spirits, and invaluable networking!!! Thanks to all who attended.
